About the Role
AltaServer, a division of BluePage Software LTD, is looking for three Technical Support Engineers to provide world-class customer support. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, resolving customer queries, and ensuring a seamless hosting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and support tickets.
- Troubleshoot cPanel, WHM, DNS, SSL, and WordPress-related issues.
- Guide customers through domain setups, website migrations, and server configurations.
- Document issues, escalate complex problems, and collaborate with the technical team.
- Maintain a professional and customer-centric approach at all times.
- Stay up to date with AltaServer’s products, features, and industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in web hosting technical support (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of cPanel, WHM, FTP, DNS, and SSL management.
- Familiarity with Linux command line and web hosting environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot WordPress and other CMS platforms.
- Experience using help desk platforms (e.g., WHMCS, Help Scout, Zendesk).
- Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with mod_security, Apache/Nginx, and MySQL troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of email configurations (SMTP, IMAP, POP3).
- Security-conscious and detail-oriented.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
