About the Role
As a Customer Support Agent (L1), you will assist clients via LiveChat and tickets, ensuring they receive expert guidance and a seamless hosting experience. Unlike other companies, we don’t impose ticket or chat quotas—we prioritise quality support over speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and support tickets.
- Assist with billing inquiries, account management, and service optimisations.
- Troubleshoot basic hosting-related issues (cPanel, DNS, FTP, WordPress, email setups).
- Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant teams.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- 18+ months of experience in the web hosting industry (preferred but not required).
- Solid understanding of cPanel/WHM, FTP, DNS, and MySQL.
- Experience troubleshooting WordPress, Joomla, Magento, and other CMS platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset—patient, empathetic, and problem-solving.
- Experience with Linux servers (CentOS, CloudLinux) and security best practices.
- Familiarity with mod_security, PHP configurations, and SSL management.
- Ability to assist non-technical users with clear, concise explanations.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
